AAFCS Broad Field FCS
Assessment/Certification Exam
Registration Deadline -- July 15, 2022
On-line Testing Window -- July 22 - August 15, 2022
In partnership with the Virginia Department of Education and VATFACS, AAFCS is pleased to offer the Broad Field FCS assessment for educators in Virginia who are seeking initial licensure or who need to meet certification requirements to offer verified credit to their students.
For the 2021 – 2022 testing year, Virginia teachers or candidates are eligible to sit for the AAFCS Broad Field FCS assessment/certification through remote (online-LIVE) proctor administration. Once registered and authorized for assessment administration, the test candidate will be able to schedule a testing date (July 22 - August 15) and time (2 hour block) through the online portal.
The cost for this remote administration is $65 per candidate. Registration fees are payable by credit card only and are non-refundable.
Upon registration, candidates will receive an email confirming registration and fee payment. Following the deadline identified below, candidates will receive an email with details regarding scheduling and technology requirements.
