Alan Harris – Husband, Father,Teacher, Pilot Light

Alan Harris was born and raised in Fresno, CA and is a graduate of Hoover High School. Dr. Harris received his Bachelors (History) and Masters (Educational Leadership) degrees as well as his teaching credentials (Social Studies, Special Education, Administration) from California State University, Fresno. He studied and received his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Alan Harris, has been teacher, principal, district administrator and superintendent in public education K-12. In addition to working in California and Wisconsin, Alan has served in urban, rural and suburban districts ranging from 1200 to 30,000 students. In his role as Head of Education for IMAGO his focus is on meaningful outcomes in social emotional and academic learning supporting teachers and students as learners and humans. In addition to his work at IMAGO, Dr. Harris is an adjunct professor with Fresno Pacific University, a licensed Yoga Teacher and lives in Fresno with his wife Katrina Harris. He and his wife enjoy yoga, climbing, running and their four dogs. They have three adult daughters and one grandchild.

Rona Neely

Rona received an Associate of Arts degree (1992) and Associate of Science degree (2000) from Piedmont Technical College. She has also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Lander University and a Master of Science degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson University.

Neely taught for seven years in Laurens School District 56 (Clinton). During that time, she taught 4th - 5th grade (all subjects) and 6th -7th Math and Science. She also served as a Mentor Teacher. From 2010 - 2013, she taught 5th - 8th Math and Science (TAP Master Teacher) at Lead Academy Public Charter in Greenville County. Rona was also a 2008 South Carolina Honor Roll Teacher.

Jahkari “JT” Taylor is an award-winning educational leader, researcher, author, and national speaker. He has presented at the national conferences of many professional organizations, including ASCD, NCTE, AMLE, and Learning Forward. JT has been featured in a WHRO commercial titled “The Teaching Profession” and has presented at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across the nation. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including Iota Phi Lambda Emerald Educator, Teacher of the Year at Oscar F. Smith High School, Overall City-Wide Teacher of the Year for Chesapeake Public Schools, and 2019 ASCD Emerging Leader. In 2021, JT was named one of Inside Business’s “Top Forty Under 40” in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He has over 14 years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher, Title I Instructional Coach, and a full-time Educational Consultant.
