Working in Support of Education (W!se) is offering Virginia FCS teachers the opportunity to earn a Certification in Personal Finance remotely through virtual testing!

The Certification in Personal Finance Test is for teachers of personal finance. The Test assesses teachers’ knowledge of personal finance topics that are aligned to state and national standards. Teachers who pass the Test earn a Certification in Personal Finance (CPF) and receive a CPF certificate -- a national credential demonstrating proficiency in personal finance knowledge. Teachers are provided with a Study Manual, upon confirmation of payment, that includes all the topics that can be assessed on the Test.

 

Using the Zoom virtual meeting platform, teachers can take the Test remotely, and do not need to have a local proctor present. Instead, a W!se staff member will be available on 8 select dates/times to administer the Test to registered examinees. The Test is supported by PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, and iPads.

The cost for this remote administration is $50 per candidate.  Registration fees are payable by credit card only and are non-refundable.
