The VATFACS Board of Directors invites you to join the professional organization for Virginia's Teachers of Family & Consumer Sciences and participate in professional leadership activities.
Officer nominations are now being accepted for:
Preparing individuals for life and work, strengthening families, enabling communities.
Teacher Cadet Curriculum Training
Teacher Cadet Curriculum Training will take place immediately following the conclusion of the 2024 VATFACS Professional Development Institute at the Hotel Madison and Shenandoah Valley Conference Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
All teachers attending are required to attend both days of the training.
Training sessions cannot be split or shared with a
partnering teacher due to CERRA's copyright.
The schedule is:
Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Part I
Friday, July 26, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Part II
The cost of the training is $875.
